Gone are the times when the phrase ‘creative accountants’ were given negative connotations, referring to violation of rules and expected behaviour. While finance, control and risk management, and integrity are still fundamental to our mandate, we are stepping up to the challenge of adding value to a society that is in desperate need of becoming fairer and kinder.
Creativity, as the emanation of human resourcefulness, needs to be embraced and cultivated so that we fulfil our potential of being a force for good.
